Smooth running
The high efficiency of ball screws is far superior to traditional screws. The required torque is less than 30%. Linear motion can be easily changed from rotary motion.
High rigidity and preload
In a conventional nut assembly, if the axial clearance is minimized, the actuation torque becomes excessive and operation becomes unstable. The axial clearance of the TBI MOTION precision ball screw can be reduced to zero by the preload force, and still gentle operation can be performed. Therefore, the TBI MOTION ball screw has a Gothic arched groove profile (Figure 1.2), which can achieve these conditions.
